Using a spare 6 volt battery because the one I bought didn't get delivered, I connected the head and tail lights.

I fitted LED tail lights with an extra indicator light option. It is available at the Dutch club for old 2CV's; the EEEC. It's good addition to the older 2CV models that only have an indicator in the side lights. Only having side lights for indicators often confuses other road users; they don't see a blinking light were the expect it (on the back) which can cause dangerous situations or road rage type of frustration. With this kit the side lights are connected with LEDS in the housing of the tail lights. When you use the indicator, both the rear and the side lights are blinking.
