Citroen GS out of hibernation

It's time to bring the Citroen GS out of winter storage. The final technical task I completed before storing it was replacing the LHM hydraulic fluid and changing the gearbox oil. In 2021, I performed extensive technical work on the car. It now boasts a renovated engine, fresh oil, a new exhaust, and electronic ignition.

Currently, my only concern is the excessive smoke it sometimes emits upon cold starts. This issue is quite bothersome and I suspect it's related to the new pistons and rings I installed. I plan to address this issue in a year or so. For now, my focus is on another project with this car—restoring the rear suspension arms.

In the meantime, the car drives wonderfully. I plan to enjoy it for a while longer and document my journeys with it, much like the photos you see here.
